PND participation in the national workshop: towards the sustainable management of the large marine ecosystem of the Canary Current. July 27 and 28, 2022

The Diawling National Park took part from July 27 to 28 in the workshop towards the sustainable management of the large marine ecosystem of the Canary Current. This workshop was held at IMROP in Nouadhibou, which is part of the implementation of the CCLME strategic action program which aims to improve the capacity of countries to deal with problems relating to the decline of fisheries, threats on biodiversity and water quality. It also aims to strengthen policies and management, through the improvement of knowledge and the organization of demonstration actions, to address priority cross-border problems linked to decline of living marine resources; strengthening the knowledge, capacities and policy bases necessary for the assessment and transboundary management of biodiversity, habitat and water quality.
