 Online training session with REBOOT MED cross-functional suppliers (MEET and GFN networks): Presentation of the WP3 methodology and tools to local suppliers as well as partners. 

The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development Ms. Lalya Kamara visited the moughata of Keur Macéne in the Wilaya of Trarza on February 1, 2023, accompanied by a delegation from her department.

The first stage allowed the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development HE Mrs. Lalya Kamara and the accompanying delegation to discover the flooded plains of the park and the rich biodiversity that they host. Explanations by the Director of the park, Dr Daf Sehla Ould DAF, on the hydraulic management of the park, with the aim of recreating the estuarine system before the development of the Diama dam, were provided to understand the fragility of the operation of this park .

Ornithological stops took place with the observation of the habitats and birds that the park hosts during this wintering period. Explanations were provided on how the co-management of natural resources with users works, which represents the main asset for good management of the area.

HE Madam Minister subsequently went to the fishing sites (Cheyal, Lemer) in the Park where she met the fishermen and initiated discussions. constructively with them on the conditions for improving the performance of their activities, in particular those relating to hygiene and the valorization of their product for marketing purposes.

And finally the delegation went to the Diama dam in order to understand the functioning of this infrastructure and to visit the mangrove restoration site which constitutes an unprecedented example of success in the sub-region.

The Minister visited the exhibition put on by local women's cooperatives, whose leaders focused on the different systems for exploiting natural resources and the significant positive benefits they derive from them. This was also an opportunity for the Minister to collect the grievances of cooperatives and fishermen for the improvement of their working conditions and their living environment.

The minister concluded her visit with a meeting held with the park staff and the coordination of the RBDTS project, during which various presentations were made by the director of the Diawling park Mr. Daf Ould Sehla Ould Daf, the Executive Director of the Banc d'Arguin Trust Fund and Coastal and Marine Biodiversity on the support provided to the PND and finally by the coordinator of the RBDTS project management unit.
