The “Green Value” initiative helps its African partner countries and development institutions integrate the value of these assets into decision-making. Its aim is to integrate natural capital into policy and planning, financial markets and development finance, as well as into measures of economic progress and national accounts (natural capital accounting). The “Green Value” initiative thus contributes to one of the main building blocks of transformative change towards nature-friendly economies and development in Africa.
