The Diawling National Park carried out the international count of waterbirds in TBR-RIM ecosystems, January 15, 2022. For this year 2022, the count was carried out in 10 circuits to cover the majority of the park, in particular the islands and the interior of the basins. The 2022 count gave a number of 251 individuals for 957 species water birds. A high diversity of species and numbers was observed compared to the last 3 years.
